DALLAS – As football fans descend on Cowboys Stadium to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers battle the Green Bay Packers for the NFL Championship title, Denny’s restaurants located in the Dallas area are celebrating with a BOGO 45-cent “Build Your Own Grand Slam®” deal.
Starting at 4:50 p.m. on Sunday – about 45 minutes before the kickoff of Super Bowl XLV – and lasting for the next 45 hours, 45 Dallas-area Denny’s restaurants will allow customers to buy one Build Your Own Grand Slam® breakfast at regular price and get a second Build Your Own Grand Slam® for just 45 cents. Denny’s Build Your Own Grand Slam®, the best-selling breakfast from America’s favorite diner, allows guests to choose four items from a list of delicious breakfast options including two crispy bacon strips, two fluffy buttermilk pancakes, a buttermilk biscuit, two eggs any style, grits, hash browns, oatmeal, two sausage links or two slices of toast.
“Denny’s Build Your Own Grand Slam® breakfast and NFL football are two American traditions, and we’re showing our support of Super Bowl XLV by offering a special deal on America’s favorite breakfast at Dallas-area Denny’s for 45 hours,” said Steve Henry, senior director of field marketing for Denny’s. “Denny’s sells more than 7 million Build Your Own Grand Slams® annually, and has offered this breakfast favorite since 1977, so we’re sure this will be a popular offer in the Dallas area.”
Guests can still enjoy the Build Your Own Grand Slam® and stick to their New Year’s resolution of healthy eating by choosing from several “Better For You” ingredients. Available at no extra cost, guests may choose egg whites, turkey bacon, chicken sausage, hearty wheat pancakes and sugar-free syrup and cut the calories by 30 percent.
