Cadillac Escalade kick- started Texas Truck Month with the launch of the 2012 Cadillac
Escalade Premium Collection along a month -long charity event that began on Sept/22/
2011. The great event of the Escalade Team Features 19 top Texas sports celebrities,
among them, Team Captain football great legend Drew Pearson, Daryl Johnston, Mike
Renfro, Randy White, Matt Bullard, Carly Patterson, Laura Wilkinson, Mike Modano,
Brian Cardinal and Derek Harper.
The participating Texas charities in Escalade Team Texas are: Cure Duchenne, Taylor's
Gift, YMCA, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Special Olympics Texas and Love,
Hope, Strength Foundation.
A parade of 30 Escalades straight from the Arlington Plant arrived at the Discovery
Gardens on the State Fair Grounds at the Texas State Fair in Dallas on Sept .22 along
with all 19 celebrities supporting their assigned charity, the launch of the campaign
served to bring awareness of the charity Drive.
Cadillac will produce a PSA for each charity and then provide valuable assets to
publicize and promote the PSA. $150,000 worth of media support will be donated to the
charity that receives the most exposure for its PSA.
