The 2.0-liter EcoBoost® four-cylinder engine joins the lineup for the 2012 Ford Edge,
adding another high-tech feature to the popular crossover, which launched industry-first
MyFord Touch® driver connect technology. Available for the enthusiast driver is Edge Sport,
which features a 3.7-liter V6 engine, 22-inch wheels and a sport-tuned suspension.
Three types of engines to choose:
3.5-liter V6 front-wheel drive:
19 mpg city/27 mpg highway (SEL and Limited)
Equipped with Ti-VCT V6, 285 hp @ 6,500 rpm, 253 lb.-ft. torque @ 4,000rpm
2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder frontwheel drive: 21 mpg city/30 mpg highway
Capable of 240 hp @ 5,500 rpm, 270 lb.-ft. torque @ 3,000 rpm
3.7-liter V6 front-wheel drive:
18 mpg city/25 mpg highway (Edge Sport)
Equipped with Ti-VCT V6, 305 hp @ 6,500 rpm, 280 lb.-ft. torque @ 4,000 rpm
